What You’ll Do

• Serve as a trusted point of contact for patients, providing friendly, professional support and ensuring they understand their accounts and financial responsibilities.

• Contact patients by phone, email, or mail to collect payment for services rendered and resolve outstanding balances.

• Review and analyze patient accounts receivable to identify unpaid claims or discrepancies.

• Collaborate with patients, insurance companies, and third-party payers to resolve billing or payment issues quickly and accurately.

• Educate patients on insurance coverage, available payment options, and billing processes.

• Partner with the Insurance and Legal accounts receivable teams to ensure seamless communication and resolution.

• Monitor and follow up on outstanding balances using sound judgment and effective collection strategies.

• Maintain accurate, detailed, and up-to-date records in all billing systems.

What You Bring

• Knowledge of medical billing and collection practices.

• Familiarity with business office procedures and computer systems.

• Strong communication skills and a professional, patient-centered approach.

• Ability to operate office equipment and multi-line telephone systems.

• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions with accuracy.
