Orchestrate Culinary Excellence: Culinary Coordinator at Jonathan's Landing Golf Club
Jonathan's Landing Golf Club is seeking a highly organized and proactive Culinary Coordinator to join our dynamic culinary team. This pivotal role goes beyond standard administrative duties, you'll be the central hub, ensuring the smooth, efficient, and seamless operation of our kitchen, directly supporting our Executive Chef and culinary staff.

What You'll Do:
- Master of Logistics & Supply Chain: Take charge of our inventory, assessing levels, and placing timely orders for all ingredients, disposables, cleaning supplies, and equipment. You'll coordinate closely with vendors to ensure timely deliveries and secure competitive quotes for new equipment.
- Operational Architect: Develop and manage precise schedules for our culinary staff, ensuring optimal coverage for all shifts and events. You'll communicate schedules, resolve conflicts, and collaborate with management to align staffing with business demands.
- Administrative Backbone: Maintain meticulous records of inventory and expenditures, accurately inputting and coding invoices for finance. You'll handle essential administrative tasks like filing, data entry, and report preparation for management.
- Communication Hub: Serve as a primary point of contact for culinary operations, expertly managing emails and coordinating with other departments or external partners to address inquiries and requests.
- Facilities & Uniform Liaison: Coordinate maintenance requests both internally and externally for our culinary facilities and manage our uniform service company, ensuring seamless operations.
- Organizational Guru: Keep our storage locations impeccably organized, ensuring efficiency and easy access for the team.
- Strategic Contributor: Actively participate in weekly BEO (Banquet Event Order) meetings, providing crucial input on upcoming events, menus, and logistical requirements to ensure flawless execution.
What You Bring:
- Culinary Background Required: You have a foundational understanding of the culinary world, allowing you to speak the language of our kitchen.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a culinary school background, degree, or relevant certification in hospitality management is a significant plus.
- Exceptional Organizational Skills: You are meticulously organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong time management abilities, with a keen eye for accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal skills and an excellent grasp of the English language, both written (especially email) and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite . Basic knowledge of Chef Tech and/or Jonas system is preferred.
- A positive, energetic, and self-motivated team player with immense pride in delivering superior customer service.
- Flexibility: Ability to work a schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet the Club's demands.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly.
