Job Title: Senior Lead DevOps Engineer

Location: Miami, FL (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)
Duration: 1 Year (Renewable)

Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Lead DevOps Engineer to lead the design and implementation of end-to-end CI/CD, SRE, and observability frameworks across hybrid cloud environments. This role will drive modernization of the software delivery lifecycle, enhance reliability, and improve deployment automation for mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, automation, and implementation of CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver DevOps strategies and best practices.


• Implement observability and SRE frameworks using tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, DataDog, and Kibana.


• Define infrastructure automation using Terraform or Ansible for both on-prem and cloud-native environments.


• Manage DevOps governance, security, and compliance with RBAC and identity management solutions.


• Ensure high availability, resilience, and monitoring of production systems.


• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and establish operational excellence standards.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD, and SRE practices.


• Deep expertise with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Bamboo.


• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).


• Hands-on experience with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, DataDog, Kibana).


• Proven experience designing and implementing API Management solutions (Apigee, Kong, Microsoft APIM).


• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).


• Familiarity with SDLC governance, version control, and automation pipelines.


• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills in enterprise environments.

Certifications

• Required: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional OR Azure DevOps Engineer Expert


• Preferred: Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Terraform Associate, ITIL Foundation, DevOps Foundation

Additional Notes

• Candidate must have proven leadership in DevOps transformation.


• Excellent communication skills in English; Portuguese preferred.
