Imaging Clerk Full Time Days

Summary

Under the direction of the Imaging Director and Office Supervisor, Imaging Clerk performs general clerical duties. Answers phones and routes to appropriate areas. Adheres to the DMC Customer Service expectations.. Functions as a greeter and receptionist as needed. Imaging Clerk downloads / Uploads imaging to discs. Documents the release of imaging in the RIS systems. Process imaging orders. Fax STAT and Critical result reports within appropriate time frames. Imaging Clerk follows downtime procedures for reporting during RIS systems downtimes. Imaging Clerk ensures that transferred Trauma patients reports and imaging are downloaded into the PACS system for the radiologist to view with concurrent imaging.

Qualifications

Education Required: High School Diploma or GED Certificate

Experience Required: Minimum of 6 months related experience in an office setting, and proficient at data entry

Preferred: Previous experience working in an Imaging Office
