Litigation Legal Assistant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a reputable law firm in the Tampa area to identify an experienced Legal Assistant to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional seeking a collaborative work environment, long-term stability, and the flexibility of a hybrid schedule. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of legal assistant experience supporting attorneys in a fast-paced law firm environment and possess exceptional organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys and legal staff.
  • Prepare, revise, and format legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, and discovery materials.
  • Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, hearings, depositions, and client appointments.
  • Coordinate court filings and maintain case files, both electronic and physical.
  • Monitor deadlines and assist with docket management.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and vendors.
  • Process expense reports, time entry, billing requests, and other administrative functions as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure accuracy across all legal documentation.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of legal assistant experience required.
  • Knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and document preparation.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Schedule
  • Full-time, Monday through Friday
  • Hybrid schedule available
