JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-
Electrophysiology Technologist
EP TECH
Full-Time
Electrophysiology Technologist candidates will have the following job responsibilities:
- Operating medical equipment to map a cardiovascular system
- Preparing patients for procedures or tests
- Performing diagnostic tests, such as digital imaging for the cardiac system
- Checking a patient's heartbeat pattern
- Monitoring and maintaining cardiovascular equipment
- Observing data during a cardiac procedure
- Collaborating with a medical team to read and analyze data
- Assisting cardiologists during cardiac procedures
- Referring patients to specialists or other physicians
- Reading data from electrocardiograms (EKGs)
- Interpreting an EKG and identifying potential heart conditions
- Assisting physicians during the installation of medical devices, such as pacemakers
JOB QUALIFICATIONS-
Electrophysiology Technologist

Full-Time
Electrophysiology Technologist candidates must meet the following minimum job qualifications:
- 1 year of recent acute care EP Tech experience required!
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Associate Degree
- Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), or Registered Radiographer (ARRT) with a Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist
