Office of Auditing and Performance Analysis:

The Office of Auditing and Performance Analysis (APA) is responsible for technical reviews in all industries, and may include financial, compliance, management, and operational analyses. The APA analysts conduct reviews of utility-related records and data, and they provide independent verification of utility filings and statements.

Description of Job Duties:

The responsibilities of the supervisor are to assign, direct and supervise staff to audit historical and forecasted financial exhibits, transactions, and allocations. The employee will be required to review audit reports and work papers for compliance with Bureau standards. The employee will be responsible for completing performance reviews and develop training programs to meet assigned audit objectives and correct staff deficiencies.

Minimum Qualifications:

Five years of professional experience in systems analysis, management analysis, program planning, program research, program evaluation, professional accounting, financial auditing, financial or economic analysis, engineering or administrative work is required. A bachelor's degree and one year of relevant work experience or master’s degree from an accredited college or university can substitute as an alternative for the years of required experience.

Special consideration will be given to applicants who are Certified Public Accountants (CPAs), Certified Internal Auditors (CIAs), and those applicants with the ability to review, analyze, and evaluate data and present their conclusions in writing.

Special consideration will also be given to applicants with a bachelor and/or graduate degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, statistics, and/or mathematics.
