Customer Service Representative / Receptionist

- The Customer Service Representative / Receptionist must possess good critical thinking and problem-solving skills, compassion, a positive attitude, follow through and excellent communication and teamwork skills. Multi-tasking and accepting constructive criticism are essential. Punctuality is expected.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Collect payments, post payments, verify invoices.
- Financial updates to clients with hospitalized horses. Includes collecting additional deposits as necessary and assist clients with billing questions.
- Manage invoicing, monthly collections, and postings of wellness plan.
- Communicate with clients regarding unpaid invoices.
- End of Day and end of month reporting.
- Delinquent collections and write offs.
- Answer and triage phone calls.
- Schedule confirm appointments along with printing appointment schedules.
- Maintain proper client and patient information in practice management software (HVMS).
- Assist in paperwork regarding patient care, wellness plans, and financial contracts.
- Relay appropriate information to/from clients to doctors and/or management.
- Prepare and track samples for shipping.to all labs.
- Get approval and submit online pharmacy prescription requests.
- Maintain/order office supplies.
- Maintain a neat and orderly front office along with ordering and stocking items from Staples account.
- Associates Degree
- At least 3 years of customer service job-related experience.
- Excellent math and writing skills.
- Computer skills: Able to use Windows based computer system, email, practice management software (HVMS), word-processing and excel.
- Detail oriented and self-motivated.
- Preferably with equine knowledge base.
- Monday through Friday from 9am-5pm
