Screed Operator / Asphalt Laborer

We are looking for a reliable screed operator to join our team! Responsibilities include operating screed of paver on a daily basis and performing routine equipment checks and maintenance, loading and unloading equipment, and ensuring sites are kept clean and equipment is safely turned off and stored.

Screed Operator Responsibilities:

• Operate screed for proper asphalt layout according to job specifications and DOT requirements
• Monitor thickness and level of hot asphalt mix in accordance to job specifications
• Labor and rake asphalt mix as job dictates
• Perform daily maintenance of equipment for optimal performance

Paver Operator Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License with clean record
• Medical DOT Card
• Hoisting License, a plus but not required
• Relevant license and safety certification.
• Prior experience operating a Weiler P385b
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• A positive outlook and a willingness to learn.

All positions on pave crew require hand work and laboring at different times depending on the scope of work.

Schedule and Compensation:

• Pay based on experience
• Monday - Friday with occasional Saturday availability needed
