Project Coordinator
Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of our client, a national construction consulting firm, for a fully remote Project Coordinator to help keep multiple client engagements on time, on budget, and on track. In this role you will be the connective tissue between project managers, consultants, and clients, monitoring timelines, budgets, and deliverables across a portfolio of active construction consulting projects.
Day to day, you will juggle shifting priorities across several engagements at once, translating project plans into clear schedules, tracking spend against budget, and flagging risks before they become problems. This role suits someone who is naturally organized, communicates proactively, and enjoys being the person who keeps everyone aligned, whether that means chasing down a status update, updating a tracker, or prepping materials for a client status call.
Responsibilities
- Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables across multiple concurrent client engagements
- Monitor project budgets and flag variances to project managers and leadership
- Maintain accurate and up to date project schedules using project management software
- Coordinate communication between internal teams, consultants, and client stakeholders
- Prepare status reports, meeting agendas, and client-facing progress updates
- Support project managers with resource planning and task assignment
- Maintain organized project documentation, files, and change logs
- Identify potential scheduling or budget risks and escalate proactively
- Assist with invoicing, purchase orders, and vendor coordination as needed
- Coordinate logistics for project meetings, site visits, and client calls
Requirements
- 2 or more years of experience in project coordination, construction, or professional services
- Strong working knowledge of project scheduling and budget tracking practices
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and project management software such as Procore, Smartsheet, or MS Project
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously
- Comfort working independently in a fully remote environment
- Associate or bachelor degree in construction management, business, or related field preferred
- Ability to interpret budgets, schedules, and project documentation
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
Benefits
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance
- 401k retirement plan with employer match
- Paid time off and paid holidays
- Fully remote work with flexible scheduling
- Home office stipend for remote work setup
- Professional development and training support
- Employee assistance program
- Life and disability insurance options
- Collaborative and supportive team culture
- Opportunities for advancement within a growing firm
