Position Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Business Developer with a strong background in staffing and recruitment sales. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, including prospecting, cold calling, lead generation, and account management . You’ll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and closing deals for our direct placement services .
Responsibilities
- Identify and target new business opportunities within mid-size to large organizations
- Conduct outbound prospecting via cold calling, email, LinkedIn, and other channels
- Nurture inbound and marketing-generated leads through the sales funnel
- Present and promote HV Talent Group direct placement services to potential clients
- Schedule and lead discovery calls, proposals, and contract negotiations
- Maintain regular follow-up with prospects and clients to build long-term relationships
- Manage and grow assigned accounts through excellent customer service and up-selling
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline in the CRM system
- Collaborate with the recruiting team to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of business development experience in the staffing or recruitment agency industry
- Proven success in cold calling, lead generation, and closing sales
- Strong understanding of staffing industry trends and client pain points
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and hit revenue targets
- CRM proficiency (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
