Staff Accountant
We are seeking a detail-oriented, diligent, and proactive Staff Accountant to join the Finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in accounting principles, with a keen interest in the hospitality industry. This role demands exceptional proficiency in Excel, the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting and analysis. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
 - Develop, implement, maintain, and review internal financial controls and procedures.
 - Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and reports, ensuring timely and accurate presentation of financial figures.
 - Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for all departments.
 - Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses.
 - Coordinate with internal departments to ensure proper accounting of revenues, expenses, and inventory.
 - Leverage advanced Excel skills to create comprehensive financial models and reports.
 - Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
 
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field from an accredited four-year college or university.
 - Minimum of 2-4 years of accounting experience. Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus but not required.
 - Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, and advanced formulas) is mandatory.
 - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
 - Excellent time management and organizational abilities, with the capability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
 - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with all levels of management and staff.
 - A proactive approach to work, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.
