Welder/Fabricator/Pipe Fitter
The Welder/Fabricator/Pipefitter will assist in developing the company's welding department and maintaining welding equipment. This position will apply their knowledge to the company's marine, industrial, and manufacturing clientele, as well as apply their mechanical aptitude to act as a mechanic when assigned. The welder/Fabricator must be proficient with Tig and Mig processes, and the ideal candidate will be required to successfully pass a 3G, 4G, and 6G welder qualification with aluminum, stainless steel, steel, and copper-nickel. Candidates must have 3-5 years of previous experience with maritime standard industry practices of various welding processes. This position requires up to 25% - 50% travel per year. Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal communication. Must be willing to work some nights and weekends (overtime pay).
