Staff Accountant
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Staff Accountant in Tampa, FL. Duties Include:
- Perform general ledger accounting activities, including journal entries, accruals, amortizations, and reconciliations
- Support and maintain accounting processes across: Accounts Payable; Accounts Receivable; Inventory accounting
- Prepare and post accruals and maintain related schedules
- Manage and reconcile a variety of accounts, including accrual schedules and subledgers, ensuring accurate reconciliation to the general ledger
- Perform balance sheet and account reconciliations
- Support fixed asset accounting and related schedules
- Assist with month-end close activities and ongoing financial reporting needs
- To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
- Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
