Front Desk Associate (Homosassa)

Duties would include:

• Retrieves messages from voicemail and forwards to appropriate personnel.
• Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department
• Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voicemail when appropriate personnel are unavailable
• Answers questions about organization and provides callers with address, directions, and other information
• Welcomes on-site visitors, determines the nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel.
• Monitors visitor access and issues passes when required.
• Updates appointment calendars.
• Schedules clients according to stated guidelines.
• Receives, sorts, and routes mail, and maintains and routes publications.
• Maintains fax machines, assists users, sends faxes, and retrieves and routes incoming faxes.
• Verifies insurance is valid prior to service being rendered.
• Takes payment for services and products
• Orders, receives, and maintains office supplies with integrity and ethically; uploads organizational values.
• Other duties may be assigned

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred Experience: 1 year front desk and/or medical office experience

Physical Requirements

• Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
• Communicating with others to exchange information.
• Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
• Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.
