Quality Assurance Engineer
Description:
ENG- Develop and maintain quality standards, inspection procedures, and work instructions for coated and treated aerospace parts, including chem-film, anodize, passivation, and organic coatings. Lead quality engineering activities supporting manufacturing and supplier processes while ensuring compliance with applicable specifications and regulatory requirements. Conduct failure analysis, corrective action implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives to improve product quality and process performance.

#Education & Job Requirements
*Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Engineering or related technical field
*3+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment
*3+ years of experience working with Mil-Spec special processes, including heat treatment, stress relief, chem-film, anodize, passivation, and organic coatings
*3+ years of experience with paint processing, including part preparation, spray painting, and thickness testing
*Experience writing inspection instructions and First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation
*Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

*Experience performing supplier quality evaluations and audits
*Experience supporting aerospace manufacturing quality systems
*Experience with corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes
*Experience supporting Material Review Board (MRB) activities
*Strong familiarity with aerospace regulatory and compliance standards
*Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing environments
#Job Duties & Functions
*Develop and audit quality standards, inspection procedures, and work instructions for coated aerospace components
*Evaluate product requirements, engineering drawings, and manufacturing specifications for compliance
*Support manufacturing and supply chain teams in resolving quality-related issues
*Lead failure investigations and corrective action implementation activities
*Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) processes for nonconforming materials
*Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process capability and supplier performance
*Coordinate with engineering and production teams to ensure compliance with quality requirements
*Prepare and maintain documentation supporting inspections and quality system requirements
