Job Opportunity – Emergency Medicine Physician – Florida

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Central Florida

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7a-7p / 7p-7a) or 8-hour shifts available; no call required

Highlights:

• 1-2 year anticipated assignment with flexible scheduling options
• Work in a multi-site Emergency Medicine environment including Level 2 Trauma Center and freestanding emergency departments (FSEDs)
• Support from Advanced Practice Providers on shift; EM residency and APP training programs onsite
• FSED settings primarily see 2 patients per hour with vertical care and lower acuity cases
• Main facility assignments focus on moderate acuity patients unless higher acuity setting is requested
• Emergency privileges available for expedited onboarding

Requirements:

• Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine following completion of accredited EM residency, OR
• Family Medicine or Internal Medicine trained physician with 3 years of consistent and recent Emergency Medicine experience (FSED assignments only)
• Proficiency in all emergency care procedures including central access, arterial lines, lumbar puncture, intubation, pacing, and orthopedic stabilization
• Florida medical licensure (or ability to obtain)
• DEA and BLS/ACLS certifications
