Position Summary:

The Servicing Department's primary responsibility is to manage all transactions throughout the life of a business purpose loan post-closing. The Foreclosure Specialist will report directly to the Vice President of Foreclosure to manage the company's default loan portfolio. This employee serves as the first-level point of contact for our attorney firms and other affiliated third parties in Renovo's default vendor network. The Foreclosure Specialist refers default business purpose loans to attorney firms to initiate foreclosure action and manages the related default activities (“milestone management”). This employee reviews title reports and foreclosure documents prepared by attorney firms and is responsible for ensuring the foreclosure process is completed accurately in adherence to mandatory state and department timelines. The Foreclosure Specialist prioritizes the escalation of urgent matters to the Vice President of Foreclosure and proactively assists in problem-solving issues related to default.

· Manage the foreclosure process, end to end, and properly document the loan file with accurate and complete status updates.

· Manage relationships with attorney firms.

· Prioritize and manage the escalation of urgent matters to the Vice President of Foreclosure.

· Actively and effectively communicate with attorney firms and internal business units.

· Maintain a working knowledge of default-servicing processes.

· Conform to established department policies, procedures and job aids.

· Assist in the execution of default-servicing strategies.

· Manage other default processes as needed (e.g., Bankruptcy).

· Ensure all cases have clear & marketable title throughout the FCL process.

· Examine FCL invoices per case and ensure that fees & costs meet investor/servicer guidelines.

· Prepare preliminary bidding instructions for all foreclosure sales with investor/servicer guidelines.

· Endorse, certify and report FCL sale results within 24 hours of sale.

· Properly document actions taken, correspondence with attorney firms.

· Manage other duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this role will have the following qualities:

· Minimum 3 years of Foreclosure experience.

· Ability to multi-task while maintaining high attention to detail.

· Ability to manage daily tasks and prioritize workload independently.

· Ability to interact with all levels of the organization from servicing team members to senior management.

· Good verbal and written communication skills.

· Team-player who will work to find solutions.

· High-level interaction with attorney firms and vendors required.

· Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

· Proficient in MS Excel, Outlook and Word.

· Experience with Bankruptcy is a plus.

· Experience with business purpose loans is a plus.

· Experience with Salesforce is a plus.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
