The Fish House in Juno Beach is looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. In two years since we took over we transformed this place into a lively restaurant, with a beautiful outdoor setting, and outstanding food and service. We are busy and growing a loyal local following, and we are looking for great staff.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to grow within a restaurant management role and work closely with leadership in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The position offers room for growth and potential advancement into a General Manager role as the restaurant continues to grow.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily restaurant operations and floor management during service
• Maintain high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and organization
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, and vendor coordination
• Handle administrative tasks, reporting, and basic bookkeeping support
• Ensure compliance with health and food safety regulations
• Supervise and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer experiences
• Handle cash transactions accurately using Toast POS including cash handling and reconciliation
• Train new team members and provide ongoing staff development through coaching and performance feedback
• Assist in budgeting efforts, cost control initiatives, and maintaining operational efficiency
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• 3+ years of restaurant management or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and delivering exceptional service
• Strong background in inventory control, food safety protocols, and food handling procedures
• Familiarity with hospitality management principles including budgeting, cost control, and customer service excellence
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
• Experience with POS systems and restaurant management apps
• Experience with QuickBooks is a plus
• Food safety certification preferred (or ability to obtain)

Schedule

• Nights and weekends required
• Full-time position
