Job Title: RN - Cath Lab Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN Certifications: RCIS, ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - RCIS certification - Minimum 2 years of lab experience - EP experience Description: Looking for Recovery RNs (pre/post procedural). This is a multi-campus facility with various expansions. The unit consists of 3 labs with a patient ratio of 3:1. The staffing includes unit secretaries and tech availability. Required equipment includes GE lab, Impella, balloon pump, Penumbra, and IVUS. Documentation is through Merge Hemo documentation. Scheduling requires 4 ten-hour shifts with rotating call. There may be a need to cover nearby facilities for STEMI call. Procedures performed include right and left heart catheterizations, both diagnostic and intervention, as well as peripheral diagnostic and intervention procedures. Required uniform is provided scrubs. Please refer to unit-specific policies and guidelines. Consider the experience of staff and technological advancements when selecting this unit for assignment.
