About the Role

As a Medical Assistant-Supervisor, you’ll play a vital leadership role within our clinical team. This is a working supervisor position where you’ll not only oversee and support the daily operations of the clinical staff but also actively participate in delivering excellent patient care. You'll ensure that services are performed efficiently, safely, and with the highest levels of customer service.

The BOC acts as a role model for clinical staff and fosters a culture of teamwork, integrity, and ongoing improvement. This is a highly visible role, essential to maintaining operational excellence and positive patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise clinical support staff and oversee patient care operations

• Maintain compliance with OSHA, CLIA, and HIPAA regulations

• Support providers with clinical procedures and patient care

• Coordinate staff schedules, appointments, and workflow

• Train and mentor new hires

• Ensure documentation accuracy and readiness of medical records

• Manage medical supply inventory and drug samples

• Handle patient communications and assist with medication refills, authorizations, and referrals

• Fill in for clinical staff as needed, including during lunches and absences

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• High School Diploma

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Outstanding customer service and professionalism

Preferred:

• AA Degree or higher

• 3–5 years of healthcare experience

• 2–5 years in a supervisory role

• Experience with Intergy or other EMR systems
