IAM Analyst- Sarasota, FL

MaxHealth is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our organization's identity and access management systems, with a specific focus on Entra ID and Azure Active Directory.

As an IAM Analyst, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the security and integrity of our digital assets by implementing robust access control policies, streamlining user provisioning and deprovisioning workflows, and configuring advanced security features such as multi-factor authentication. Your expertise in Entra ID and Azure Active Directory will be instrumental in maintaining seamless user authentication, authorization, and access management across our organization.

Location: Sarasota, FL

Pay rate starting at $25.00 per hour, Hours 9:00am to 6:00pm.

Core Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain Entra ID and Azure Active Directory, ensuring seamless user authentication, authorization, and access management.
• Administer and maintain access to business applications and portals containing sensitive information
• Develop and implement access control policies, user provisioning and deprovisioning workflows, and multi-factor authentication (MFA) configurations.
• Analyze user access patterns, generate reports, and identify potential security risks or compliance issues related to identity and access management.
• Collaborate with IT, security, and business teams to align IAM practices with the organization's overall security and compliance objectives.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users on IAM-related processes and tools.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Entra ID and Azure Active Directory features, updates, and best practices, and recommend improvements to the organization's IAM strategy.
• Assist in the design and implementation of new IAM initiatives, such as single sign-on (SSO) integration, identity federation, and privileged access management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex IAM-related issues, including user access problems, directory synchronization errors, and integration challenges.
• Conduct access reviews & audits to ensure level of access is relevant to role and job function
• Maintain broad understanding of information security including HIPAA, PCI, ISO27002, NIST and other information security frameworks and regulations.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in identity and access management, with a strong focus on Entra ID and Azure Active Directory.
• Extensive knowledge of IAM concepts, including user authentication, authorization, and access control.
• Healthcare experience preferred
• Proficient in configuring and administering Entra ID and Azure Active Directory, including user and group management, policy creation, and reporting.
• Hands-on experience with implementing and troubleshooting MFA, SSO, and identity federation solutions.
• Familiarity with PowerShell, Azure CLI, and other IAM-related scripting and automation tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex IAM-related issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Certifications in Entra ID, Azure Active Directory, or other IAM-related technologies are highly desirable.
• Knowledge of SOX & HIPAA compliance as it relates to Identity and Access Management
