Financial Analyst Position

Financial Analyst Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to work directly with the Company CEO and his team in a very dynamic fast-growing environment. This position requires someone who is a seasoned professional with impeccable organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to anticipate the needs as business requires.

Key Duties / Responsibilities:

· Responsible for complex tasks in various financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting and analysis.

· Provide analysis and information in response to ad hoc from various areas throughout the company.

· Participate in annual budget process and cost saving activities in corporation with each unit part heads.

· Provide important business information and support ad-hoc reports as directed by management.

· Perform Profit & Loss Validation and Analysis (including clean P&L), Journal Entry and Review.

· Prepare monthly forecast, risk assessment and variance analysis for senior management stakeholders.

· Develop long-range staffing and financial funding requirement models in collaboration with the management team.

· Monitor and assess financial impact changes of indirect rates on cost reimbursable expense tracking.

· Tracks and reports on all program, financials using approved TO reporting formats (e.g., financial, accrual, burn rate reports, and other reports as required)

· Plans, directs, and coordinates activities in business intelligence analysis.

· Provides financial leadership to the business, helping drive profitable growth.

· Analyze historical and current financial data to understand the company's financial status.

· Establish benchmarks for financial processes.

· Track current financial data to alert stakeholders in case of deviation.

· Develop forecasting tools to automate financial data analysis.

· Perform the monthly profit and loss closing process.

· Assist in the month end, quarter and year end closing process ensuring transactions are in accordance with GAAP.

· Prepare financial related analysis and research in areas such as financial and cost saving performance measures.

· Support creation of materials for various management reviews and meetings.

Skills / Requirements / Qualifications :

· Each of the following qualifications/skills and experience are preferred but not required:

· Bachelor's degree, preferably with a major in finance, accounting or statistics

· Collaborate closely with the CEO and senior staff as directed.

· CFA credentials

· Proven expertise in principles, design and procedural methods used in big data analysis.

· Hands-on experience working with statistical analysis and statistical packages.

· Typical entry point for university graduates

Job Type : Full-time

Salary : $70,000-$90,000-Based on Experience.

Expected Hours : Workdays and shift: M - F, 1st

Work Location : In office with possibility of a flex/hybrid schedule after completing a ninety [90] day probationary period dependent upon management requirements.

Workplace : Office located in Lutz, Florida
