Admissions Assistant

Shift details: M-F 830am to 5pm some on call after hours and weekends required

We are in search of a qualified Admissions / Marketing Coordinator Assistant to join our team of dedicated professionals.

This position Assists the Admissions / Marketing Coordinator in many areas including: maintains resident census based on facility goals, develop, and implement a marketing program, act as a liaison between the facility and community, keeps abreast of any changes to the Census and coordinate efforts of the Admission Committee and the facility. This position must also assist in coordinating the admission process and assist the family with administrative questions as needed.

Additional Responsibilities may include:

1. Take interested families on tours of the facility
2. Complete admission paperwork
3. Verify insurance
4. Coordinate with hospital case managers
5. Utilize nursing skills to assist in the assessments to align admissions that support the goals of the facility.
6. Conduct market research and make marketing suggestions to the committee as a routine part of the job. He/she will coordinate marketing efforts of Admission Committee and the facility staff.
7. Evaluate resident/family satisfaction with admission process and facility
8. Act as facility liaison and representative at community / civic organization functions and keep abreast of changes in the market and direct members of the Admissions Committee regarding their participation in civic organizations and functions.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in admission process a plus
2. Demonstrate good customer service skills and public relations skills
3. Demonstrated ability to speak and present publicly
4. Demonstrated ability to work independently
5. Must be at least 18 years of age
6. Must speak, read, write, and understand English
