Senior Litigation Attorney
ATTORNEYS that want to make an impact please apply. Our client is expanding and would like a leader. Someone with first chair experience for trials in personal injury matters. Our client has expanded throughout the country over the past 20 years and look to continue providing opportunities for attorneys.
POSITION SUMMARY:
In this role, you will see that our clients receive the best care and obtain excellent results. Attorneys are expected to meet with clients to discuss their case, show compassion and empathy, and demonstrate an ability to earn their trust, confidence, and respect. They will also update clients and communicate with insurance companies from time to time regarding the status of claims, demands, and offers. In addition, the Attorney should be able to prepare the case for trial and try the case if needed.
SKILLS:
- Full-time
- 3 or more years of litigation experience
- personal injury trials as first chair would be preferred
- Member of the Illinois Bar and in good standing
- Experience in knowing how to evaluate claims, etc.
- Superb negotiation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Have a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Team-oriented
