Recreation Staff

We are looking for motivated and dependable Recreation Staff to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for assisting guests with river activities, ensuring they are properly prepared, and helping them launch and return safely. You will also play a key role in maintaining the property to keep it clean, safe, and welcoming for all guests.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with fitting life jackets and other safety gear.
• Provide clear instructions on safety procedures and river guidelines.
• Help guests launch their kayaks, canoes, and tubes onto the river.
• Load and unload kayaks and canoes, including lifting and carrying them as needed.
• Monitor river conditions and communicate any safety concerns.
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
• Perform general property maintenance, including cleaning common areas, maintaining trails, and ensuring facilities are in good condition.
• Monitor and restock supplies as needed.
• Deliver friendly and professional customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older .
• Must have a valid driver’s license .
• Previous experience in outdoor recreation, or customer service preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry kayaks and canoes (up to 75 lbs ).
• Basic maintenance and repair skills are a plus.
• Friendly and professional demeanor with a focus on safety and guest satisfaction.
