Manufacturing Engineer
We have an outstanding Contract position for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading Company located in theOcala, FL surrounding area.
Job Responsibilities:
- Designs manufacturing processes, procedures andproduction layouts for assembly equipment installation, processing, machining andmaterial handling.
- Designs arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure mostefficient and productive layout.
- Designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.
- Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.
- May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.
- Inspects performance of machinery, equipment andtools to verify their efficiency and investigates and initiates corrective action ofproblems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
- Develops manufacturing processes that are applicableto statistical process control and may develop those techniques.
- Provides guidance toengineering regardingdesign concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
- Ensures processes and procedures are in compliancewith regulations.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
- Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing facility performing engineering support.
- Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience with SAP.
- Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience with Quality defect dispositioning.
- Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience with Preliminary Material Review (PMR).
