Qualifications Required Education: Associates Degree in Nursing Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Required Experience: 1 year of acute care experience required Preferred Experience: 2-5 years’ experience as RN Required Certification/License/Registry: Current license to practice as an RN in Florida Must have a current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification from an accredited instructor from the American Heart Association (AHA) and/or other specialized life support requirements designated by work area. Responsibilities The Registered Clinical Nurse (RN) is fundamental in achieving recognized world-class health care. The primary responsibility is to provide care through collaboration with health care team members and the autonomous application of the nursing process. Provide leadership, mentoring and role modeling for other members of the health care team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coordination and delegation of care in a safe, secure and clean environment. Be adaptable, using evidenced based practice and information technologies while maintaining focus on providing comfort, relieving pain and alleviating anxiety.
