Business Services Technician
Nuclear Energy Opportunity Overview: Business Services Technician Level 1. This is a 6-months contract assignment.(W-2) You will perform multiple administrative assistance functions. You will be responsible for maintenance of records and data retrieval/compilation. Additionally, you will be responsible for financial reporting, including budget, variance, and cost tracking, and month-end close. Furthermore, you will ensure that all transactions comply with Sarbanes-Oxley. May perform some limited accounts payable activities, some limited inventory activities, or indicator tracking. You will report to the onsite Manager. Your Day-to-Day:
- Create Purchase Orders with a focus on commercial content and risk mitigation
- Process Work Cycles and MR 11 transactions
- Support the Jira service desk
- Perform month end activities
- Resolve vendor issues
- Handle and respond to urgent requests
- Collaborate with multiple departments – Engineering, Operations, Business Management, IT, Accounts Payable, and the Integrated Supply Chain
- Maintain compliance with company SOX controls and procedures
- Participate in special projects and perform special assignments
- Education: High School Diploma / GED required.
- A process improvement mindset
- A general understanding of Procurement and Accounting1-2 years in Procurement, Accounts Payable or another administrative finance responsibility
- SAP experience is a preferred.
