Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is ideal for certified speech-language pathologists (SLPs) seeking contract work within a dynamic public school setting in Tampa, Florida. Positions are available for both fully certified SLPs (CCC) and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates holding a valid Florida SLP license.

Location: Onsite positions based in Tampa, FL, serving multiple elementary school sites.

Position Summary:

• Multiple roles are open for the upcoming school year, with assignments available immediately through May 23rd.
• One role consists of four days per week at one elementary school, with one day at a second elementary school, both locations staffed by full-time district SLPs.
• Additional openings focus solely on speech evaluations of three-year-old children through the child find program, determining eligibility for future speech services. This position may be part-time or full-time, depending on candidate availability.
• Workdays are approximately 7.5 hours.

Qualifications:

• Valid Florida SLP license required.
• Speech-Language Pathologist certification (CCC-SLP) or eligible Clinical Fellowship Year candidates considered.
• No SLP Assistants (SLPAs) will be considered for these positions.
• Experience in early childhood speech evaluation preferred for child find roles.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech-language evaluations, screenings, and therapy sessions in assigned schools.
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and other professionals to support student communication goals.
• Complete accurate documentation and comply with district policies and deadlines.
• Provide services in compliance with federal and state guidelines and IDEA requirements.
