Accountant

Salary: $31.25 to $36.05 per hour

Contract Duration: Fixed-Term, 6 months

Overview: The Accountant will be responsible for managing accounts payable functions, supporting month-end close activities, performing daily reconciliations, and handling various financial administrative tasks. The role requires precision, collaboration, and an ability to execute tasks with a high level of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Full-Cycle Accounts Payable Management:
   • Process vendor invoices into ERP and approval systems.
   • Conduct purchase order (PO) matching.
   • Handle outgoing payment processing and post to ERP systems.
   • Manage vendor inquiries and provide timely responses.
   • Reconcile vendor statements to ensure accuracy.
   • Facilitate intercompany netting processes.
   • Complete miscellaneous accounts payable tasks as needed.

1. Month-End Close Assistance:
   • Reconcile accounts payable ledger.
   • Prepare vendor invoice accruals.
   • Reconcile accounts receivable ledger.
   • Execute manual invoicing, when necessary.
   • Perform intercompany reconciliations.
   • Address additional month-end tasks as required.
2. Daily Bank Reconciliation:
   • Conduct accurate and timely daily bank reconciliations.
3. Financial Administrative Support:
   • Assist with a variety of financial administrative tasks, as required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in an Accounts Payable.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and financial processes.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.
