About the Role:

As a Medical Assistant / Medical Scribe, you'll be at the intersection of patient care and clinical documentation. You'll gain firsthand exposure to the day-to-day functions of an interventional pain practice from rooming patients and recording vitals to capturing real-time provider notes and assisting with outpatient procedures.

This is the role where future doctors, PAs, and nurses start their journey.

What You'll Do:

• Document exams, procedures, and post-visit plans in real time
• Room patients and enter vital signs with accuracy and speed, handle patient messages
• Coordinate care: schedule procedures, check patients in/out, and complete follow-up tasks
• Maintain patient flow and streamline documentation using EMR systems
• Learn the behind-the-scenes of surgical notes, pain procedures, and care coordination

Requirements:

• Fast and accurate typing your fingers should fly
• Strong communicator clear, confident, and professional, you should be comfortable with both verbal and written communication
• Professional and adaptable
• Organized, proactive, and eager to learn
• Able to multitask in a high-volume, fast-paced medical environment
• A passion for medicine and helping people

Nice to Have:

• Experience with EMR (we'll train you if not)
• Previous medical office or scribing experience
• Bachelor's degree or current pre-med, pre-PA, or pre-nursing student
