Accounts Payable Specialist

- Full-Cycle AP Management: Review, verify, and process a high volume of vendor invoices timely and accurately.
- 3-Way Matching: Perform strict 3-way matching by reconciling vendor invoices against purchase orders (POs) and receiving/inventory documentation.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Proactively investigate and resolve any pricing, quantity, or receipt variances by collaborating with procurement, warehouse teams, and vendors.
- ERP Maintenance: Utilize our ERP system to code invoices to correct general ledger (GL) accounts, track payment statuses, and maintain clean vendor masters.
- Payment Cycles: Prepare and execute weekly payment runs via ACH, wire transfers, and checks in accordance with company policies and discount terms.
- Vendor Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries, reconciling statement balances and resolving payment disputes professionally.
- Month-End Support: Assist the accounting team with month-end closing activities, including AP accruals and account reconciliations.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of dedicated Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume product or manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or Workday). working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
