We are looking for a detail-oriented 401K Administrator to oversee the administration of employee retirement and benefits programs. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, coordinating with third-party vendors, and supporting employees with benefit-related inquiries. Based in Tampa, Florida, this position is an excellent opportunity for professionals passionate about enhancing employee satisfaction through effective benefits management.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the administration of the company’s 401(k) program, including enrollments, contribution processing, distributions, and rollover transactions.
• Work closely with payroll to ensure proper processing of employee deferrals, employer contributions, and related deductions.
• Perform routine reviews and reconciliations of plan data to detect and address any inconsistencies.
• Maintain adherence to applicable federal regulations and internal policies governing retirement and benefits programs.
• Support the preparation and execution of the annual 401(k) plan audit.
• Create and distribute informational materials and updates to educate employees about the 401(k) plan.
• Track plan performance and recommend improvements to enhance participation and overall employee experience.
• Keep comprehensive and organized records of all 401(k)-related transactions and activities.
• 2 years of experience in benefits administration.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in plan administration.
• Effective communication skills to work with employees and third-party vendors.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address discrepancies and recommend plan improvements.
