Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Immigration Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in matters related to immigration law, ensuring compliance with regulations and advocating for clients' rights during their immigration processes. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct client consultations to assess immigration needs and provide tailored legal advice.
- Perform legal research to stay updated on immigration laws and regulations.
- Manage case files and maintain organized documentation for all client matters.
- Draft legal documents, including petitions, applications, and briefs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
- Represent clients in deportation defense cases and immigration court proceedings.
- Assist clients with family-based immigration applications and processes.
- Guide clients through employment-based immigration procedures and applications.
- Support clients seeking asylum and provide necessary legal representation during the application process.
- Advocate for clients' rights in various legal settings, ensuring they receive fair treatment and consideration.
- Ensure all legal practices comply with relevant regulations and ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in at least one state.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in immigration law.
- Experience in deportation defense, family-based immigration, and employment-based immigration.
