Position Overview

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, processing permits with city and county agencies, and supporting daily office operations. This is a dual-role position that requires excellent organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping Duties

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable

  • Record daily financial transactions and reconcile accounts

  • Prepare invoices, receipts, and financial reports

  • Assist with payroll and expense tracking

• Permit Processing Duties

  • Submit, track, and manage permit applications for window and door installations

  • Communicate with local municipalities and building departments to ensure compliance

  • Maintain accurate records of permits, inspections, and approvals

  • Coordinate with project managers and customers regarding permit status

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar role

• Familiarity with QuickBooks Online

• Prior experience with permit processing in construction or home improvement industry (preferred)

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
