Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift, 4x10 Hours (07:00 AM – 05:30 PM)

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse to provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The RN will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.
• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Monitor and manage patients undergoing procedural sedation.
• Perform continuous cardiac rhythm monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation.
• Assist with left heart and right heart catheterizations.
• Monitor Pulmonary Artery (Swan-Ganz) lines and hemodynamic data.
• Assess patient condition and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status.
• Document patient care accurately using electronic charting systems.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and clinical protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab nursing experience.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• Experience with electronic medical record/charting systems.
