Truck/Phone Allowance Job Details We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team in the Construction industry. This individual will be responsible for overseeing commercial and residential construction projects from conception to completion. You will be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline. If you have a passion for construction, a keen eye for detail, and a knack for managing complex projects, we would like to meet you! Responsibilities: 1. Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
2. Review projects in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
3. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
4. Meet contractual conditions of performance.
5. Review the work progress on a daily basis.
6. Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
7. Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
8. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
9. Manage the budget and estimate costs.
10. Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
11. Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
12. Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
13. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
14. Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5+ years of proven working experience in project management in the construction sector.
3. Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in building and construction.
4. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
7. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
8. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
9. Proven experience in strategic planning, risk management, and change management.
10. Proficiency in project management software tools.
11. Competency in conflict resolution, negotiation, and construction contract management.
12. Extensive previous work experience managing budgets for construction projects.
13. Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
14. Experience in managing construction projects for custom homes and country club construction.
15. Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills.
16. A strong understanding of the construction industry, excellent problem-solving abilities, critical thinking skills, and a track record of managing project budgets and schedules to successful completion.
