Licensed Mental Health Professional
Mississippi Behavioral Health Services, LLC is dedicated to providing high-quality, client-centered behavioral health care to individuals and families across Mississippi. Responsibilities
- Provide clinical direction to Behavioral Health Supervisors through quarterly clinical staffings, ensuring compliance with agency policies and procedures.
- Complete required documentation for all clinical direction and oversight activities.
- Collaborate with the State Clinical Director to identify staff training needs and coordinate in-service, targeted, advanced, and DMH trainings.
- Conduct clinical service provision reviews for recipients, including quality assurance reviews, treatment record reviews, and random chart audits to ensure active engagement and delivery of medically necessary services.
- Conduct initial assessments and manage authorization processes in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
- Consult with physicians, nurses, and other clinical or community agency personnel to determine appropriate clinical diagnoses.
- Develop initial Individual Service Plans in compliance with agency, DMH, and insurance provider requirements.
- Complete, document, and bill random Quality of Service contacts as required.
- Sign all Individual Service Plans and other designated documentation in accordance with agency policy, DMH standards, and Medicaid requirements.
- Participate as a member of the corporate leadership staff and contribute to work unit or department committees and activities.
- Maintain required training hours and continuing education units (CEUs) to uphold licensure.
- Actively participate in surveys, evaluations, inspections, and state monitoring of MBHS.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, or a Master of Arts, Science, or Education in a mental health-related field (with at least 70% of coursework in core mental health disciplines).
- Current licensure as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of Mississippi.
