Kitchen Customer Service Representative
:
The Kitchen Customer Service Representative will interact with the company's customers by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints while providing a high level of customer support on a specific product or service. This representative will utilize their knowledge regarding different product lines while also using our tools to provide information to customers in order to close sales transactions. In this role, you will also take product orders as well as recommend products to contribute to the overall sales goals while ensuring that the showroom is kept clean, presentable, and safe for all that visit.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Interacts with customers via telephone, email, online chat, or in person to provide support and information on products or services.
- Introduces and presents products to clients as well as answer any questions and conduct the closing of sales transactions.
- Updates CRM system by entering prospect and customer information while documenting all relevant interactions including follow ups.
- Collects and enters orders and applications for new or additional products or services while ensuring timely delivery to customers by proactively partnering with the logistics team.
- Processes various forms of payment from customers.
- Acknowledges & promptly responds to customer questions and complaints to resolve issues; when the issue is beyond the representative's knowledge, escalating queries and concerns to the assigned specialist, appropriate staff or department.
- Follows up after all products have been delivered to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provides feedback and process improvement recommendations regarding systems and workflow while also ensuring exceptional customer experiences.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must have some knowledge/ experience in the kitchen or cabinet manufacturing industry.
- Must possess excellent communication skills.
- Must be service-oriented while also possessing the ability to resolve customer grievances.
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
- Fluent in English & Spanish.
Education and Experience:
- Must have at least 1 year of experience in a Kitchen or Furniture Manufacturing setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of customer service experience preferred
