Parts and Production Clerk

Duda Farm Fresh Foods, is currently looking for a Parts and Production Clerk to join our Maintenance team in Belle Glade, Florida. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory of parts and supplies, supporting production efficiency, and coordinating with maintenance and production teams to ensure minimal down time. This role involves managing inventory records, processing purchase orders, and assisting with production scheduling and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate inventory of spare parts, tools, and consumables: receive, inspect, and document incoming parts and supplies.
• Organize and track parts efficiently; track part usage and coordinate reorders to avoid stock shortages.
• Work with vendors to obtain quotes, process purchase orders, and ensure timely deliveries. Maintain a database of suppliers, pricing, and lead times for critical parts.
• Assist with production scheduling, ensuring materials and supplies are available as needed. Track production data, including downtime, rework, and efficiency metrics.
• Generate and maintain reports related to inventory, production output, and downtime, ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Work closely with supervisors to support operational needs and process improvement initiatives.
• Assist in training production staff on proper equipment handling and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. General office administration. Excellent time management skills.
• Keen attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and parts experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Bi-lingual English and Spanish is preferred.
