Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301 (Hybrid)
Job Type: Direct Hire
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join a growing team in Fort Lauderdale. This is a direct hire opportunity offering a hybrid schedule, with a mix of in-office and remote work. The ideal candidate will have strong full-cycle AP experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Process high-volume invoices accurately and efficiently (PO and non-PO)
- Perform 3-way matching and ensure proper coding and approvals
- Manage vendor relationships, including resolving discrepancies and responding to inquiries
- Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and maintain accurate AP records
- Assist with month-end close, including accruals and reporting
- Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation
- 2+ years of accounts payable experience
- Experience handling full-cycle AP in a high-volume environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, basic formulas)
- ERP system experience (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Hybrid schedule (in-office and remote flexibility)
