Inventory Management Assistant (Mandarin Chinese Required)

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented **Inventory Management Assistant** to oversee and optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations. This role serves as the critical link between our internal design team and overseas manufacturing partners—ensuring a seamless flow of inventory from production to final delivery.

### **Key Responsibilities**

**Inventory Oversight & Reporting**

* Generate, analyze, and maintain accurate inventory reports, including stock levels, turnover rates, and demand forecasts
* Monitor SKU performance and proactively flag slow-moving or at-risk inventory
* Maintain real-time visibility across multiple warehouses and fulfillment centers

**Factory & Supplier Management (Mandarin Required)**

* Act as the primary point of contact for overseas manufacturing partners, primarily Chinese-speaking suppliers
* Communicate production timelines, capacity constraints, and quality expectations clearly and effectively
* Lead negotiations on pricing, MOQs, and lead times to drive cost efficiency and operational optimization

**Procurement & Purchase Order Management**

* Prepare and issue Purchase Orders based on demand planning and sales velocity
* Route all POs for internal approvals and coordinate with finance for timely payments
* Track orders from placement through delivery, resolving delays and supply issues proactively

**Cross-Functional Collaboration**

* Work closely with the design team to align product launches with inventory readiness
* Coordinate with logistics partners on inbound shipments, freight, and customs clearance
* Support finance with vendor invoice reconciliation and documentation

### **Qualifications**

* **Mandarin Chinese (business-level proficiency) is REQUIRED** — must be comfortable negotiating and communicating directly with Chinese manufacturers
* 2+ years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, or procurement (consumer goods, furniture, or home products preferred)
* Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; experience with inventory management systems is a plus
* Proven negotiation skills with the ability to drive cost savings and favorable supplier terms
* Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple SKUs, vendors, and timelines simultaneously
* Experience with international shipping, Incoterms, and import logistics is highly preferred
