Electrician

POSITION SUMMARY:

Maintain, repair and install electrical devices and systems to ensure safe reliable operation.

Full Time, Day Shift, Weekend Work Required

Shift: four 10 hour shifts (most of the time hours are 7am-5:30pm)

Location: St. Petersburg, FL

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Conducts inspections, testing and maintenance on electrical equipment and systems to ensure reliable operation
• Ability to use electronic meters, test equipment and scanners to conduct testing and troubleshooting
• Completes installations of outlets, circuits, and devices per local and national codes and standards to meet the needs of our customers
• Completes proper documentation of service activity to ensure compliance with accrediting agencies

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience at Journeyman level, in a commercial or industrial environment.
• Current Florida Electrical Journeyman license
• Working knowledge of NEC (NFPA 70), SBC and OSHA standards as they relate to electrical equipment installation and maintenance

• Effectively communicate with leadership and team members for the purpose of solving equipment or system related problems

• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, drawings, diagrams and prints

Salary Range: Minimum 22.68/hour - Maximum 36.29/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
