Sales Consultant - Taylor

• Salary Range: $50,000 to $65,000 + Bonuses

  • Earning potential of $75K to $150K annually
• Full Time: 40 hrs./5 day work week (Monday - Saturday)
  • Must be able to work retail hours which include a minimum of 2 Saturdays per month

• Provide outstanding service to determine customer’s flooring & design needs
• Build client relationships & consistently follow up with new/existing clients
• Keep up to date on the wide selection of products & services available
• Schedule appointments to visit customer’s homes or workplace to provide product & design advice
• Provide flooring sample suggestions, create client proposals/estimates, review space measurements, calculate number of materials needed for projects & perform quality control throughout project
• Communicate with vendors to determine product specifications & availability
• Manage time between the showroom & prospecting for new business
• Maintain showroom by keeping samples, displays & common areas neat, current & clean

• Minimum of 2-4 years’ proven work experience in Retail Sales, Customer Service, Outside Sales, or similar role
• A valid driver’s license & reliable transportation (REQUIRED)
• Must be able to pass a background check & drug test (REQUIRED)
• Basic computer, social media & math skills a must
• Proper phone etiquette a must
• A positive attitude & desire to exceed expectations
• Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
• Exceptional critical thinking & problem-solving ability
• Strong personal & professional judgment
• Ability to adapt & respond quickly to customers’ needs and wants
• Organizational skills & the flexibility to jump from priority to priority

• Advanced time management skills & detail oriented
• Ability to read floor plan drawings & create project estimates a plus (Willing to train)
• Knowledge of flooring industry a plus (Willing to train)
• Knowledge of RFMS a plus (Willing to train)
