Join Allied Universal at a government location in an Access Control post where you will greet visitors, verify credentials, manage entry points, and document activity while providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will remain highly visible, conduct routine patrols as needed, and help to deter security-related incidents through professional presence and timely reporting. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining access logs, and directing visitors to the appropriate areas.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, radios, and/or access control systems; report unusual activity and document observations per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from supervisors and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or other policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3+ years combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience OR a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma/GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
