Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily payroll department operations.
  • Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
  • Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports.
  • Understand proper taxation of employer-paid benefits.
  • Understand garnishment calculations and compliance.
  • Execute Kronos time and attendance processing and interface with payroll.
  • Perform compliances for unclaimed property payroll checks.
  • Process manual checks
  • Load import files received from Payroll Divisional teams and reconcile in payroll run.
  • Research and email appropriate audience of file issues
  • Prepare required divisional payroll reports on a weekly basis to ensure balancing of gross to net.
  • Research and resolve payroll issues relating to their assigned Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Skills:

  • Degree and/or three years of experience or equivalent education and related experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Education/Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations.
  • Knowledge working with SAP software and other payroll-related Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) such as Kronos
  • Knowledge in processing in multi-company payroll environments
  • Strong communication skills written and verbal
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, analytical/problem solving.
  • Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping. May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling.ng, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 50lbs
