Payroll Admin
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform daily payroll department operations.
- Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
- Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports.
- Understand proper taxation of employer-paid benefits.
- Understand garnishment calculations and compliance.
- Execute Kronos time and attendance processing and interface with payroll.
- Perform compliances for unclaimed property payroll checks.
- Process manual checks
- Load import files received from Payroll Divisional teams and reconcile in payroll run.
- Research and email appropriate audience of file issues
- Prepare required divisional payroll reports on a weekly basis to ensure balancing of gross to net.
- Research and resolve payroll issues relating to their assigned Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Skills:
- Degree and/or three years of experience or equivalent education and related experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Education/Experience:
- Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations.
- Knowledge working with SAP software and other payroll-related Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) such as Kronos
- Knowledge in processing in multi-company payroll environments
- Strong communication skills written and verbal
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, analytical/problem solving.
- Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping. May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling.ng, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 50lbs
