Network Engineer

Job Title: Senior IT Network Engineer

Location: Juno Beach, FL

Duration: 12 Months

Summary: Seeking a Senior IT Network Engineer with deep technical and cybersecurity expertise to design, implement, and secure enterprise networking solutions. This role focuses on infrastructure and endpoint security assessments, risk management, and the development of network security blueprints for a hybrid cloud/enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, implement, and support data/voice/wireless network and security infrastructure
• Evaluate firewalls, VPNs, IPS, endpoint security tools, and patch management solutions
• Assess cloud network and security controls in AWS, Azure, and hybrid infrastructures
• Conduct risk assessments, threat modeling, and validation of security controls (NIST, CIS, SOX, ISO, CIP)
• Analyze application and network data encryption, DLP, IAM (Active Directory, SSO, MFA), mobile/MDM, and OT security controls
• Develop and maintain security documentation, standards, blueprints, and risk/compliance reports
• Collaborate with architects, technology teams, and security SMEs to inform architectural and operational security standards
• Research new network and security technologies and recommend improvements
• Provide technical direction and support to project teams and junior staff as needed

Qualifications:

• 3+ years network engineering in enterprise/cybersecurity environment
• Hands-on experience designing, securing, and supporting VPN, IPS, firewall, endpoint, and cloud security controls
• Solid working knowledge of NIST, ISO, CIS, SOX/CIP security frameworks
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred (or equivalent exp.)
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and collaboration skills
