Spur, a digital staffing agency, is seeking a Tennis Attendant to support the Town of Palm Beach tennis facilities. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and adhering to the rules and guidelines set by the town and Spur.

This role involves assisting with tennis operations, customer service, facility maintenance, and administrative tasks . The Tennis Attendant will frequently work independently and must demonstrate sound judgment and strong communication skills . The Tennis Supervisor oversees this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist guests, providing information about tennis lessons, clinics, and programs .
• Process registrations, reservations, and payments for tennis courts and instructional sessions.
• Maintain clear communication with the public, instructors, and staff regarding court conditions, events, and schedules.
• Handle pro shop merchandise sales , assist with inventory management, and ensure the shop remains organized.
• Enforce tennis court rules and regulations courteously and professionally.
• Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, including cash reconciliation and deposit statement preparation.
• Assist in court maintenance , including operating a maintenance cart, sweeping courts, and ensuring the facility remains in top condition.
• Work in various weather conditions , including heat, humidity, rain, and exposure to maintenance chemicals.
• Lift equipment or materials up to 30 pounds and climb stairs, ladders, or in/out of maintenance vehicles.
• Walk approximately 250 feet to monitor and assist with tennis court operations.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to pass a background check .
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening .
• Prior customer service or tennis-related experience is a plus.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Compensation & Schedule:

• Hourly Pay: $11.00 – $18.00 per hour (based on experience).
• Flexible Schedule: Must be available for varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
