We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Electromechanical Assembler to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling a variety of electromechanical sub-assemblies for applications in aerospace, defense, industrial, or automotive sectors. The ideal candidate is proficient in IPC-compliant crimping and soldering, skilled in reading engineering drawings, and capable of performing both repetitive and non-repetitive assembly tasks with a high degree of precision and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electromechanical assembly of sub-assemblies, including the installation of hardware (screws, bolts, nuts) and routing of wires of all gauges according to engineering specifications.
• Perform crimping and soldering of wires and connectors in accordance with IPC standards to ensure reliable, high-quality terminations.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and detailed work instructions to create initial layouts and guide the assembly process.
• Proficiently operate hand tools, power tools, jigs, saws, and torque equipment to assemble and secure components to exact specifications.
• Conduct continuity checks and online quality inspections on work-in-process and finished parts to verify conformance to specifications.
• Disassemble, modify, rework, and reassemble assemblies as required, particularly during development phases or engineering change orders.
• Accurately document assembly actions and inspection results, ensuring traceability and adherence to quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on electromechanical assembly experience in aerospace, defense, industrial, or automotive manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated proficiency in IPC-compliant crimping and soldering techniques.
• Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Experience with hardware installation, wire routing (all gauges), and operation of hand/power tools, jigs, saws, and torque equipment.
• Familiarity with performing continuity checks and basic inspections.
• Ability to troubleshoot assembly issues and perform rework and modifications as needed.

Desired Skills:

• Experience working with military or defense-related specifications.
• Familiarity with development environments where assemblies may require frequent modification and rework.
• IPC certification (e.g., IPC-A-620, IPC J-STD-001).
